Receipt-Book, German: 16th century

Collection of medical receipts in German, including a 'Regiment in Zeit der Pestilentz'. At the end a 'Consilium' in Latin 'De catarrho cerebri et curatione ejusdem'. The Plague tract has not been identified, and is in the form of a prayer.

The 'Consilium' is by a different hand. On the verso of the last leaf are two receipts in the same script as that of the Arzneibuch [MS. No. 94] and the Receipt-book in German [MS. No. 642], and it seems almost certain that these two MSS., and the present MS. originally formed part of one large volume.
