Mercury in one form or another is combined with neosalvarsan. Treatment of syphilitic aortitis by bismuth.—Francis Bordet. Jour. méd. d. Paris, 1923, XLIIT, 216. Twenty-three cases were treated; one was resistant to bismuth. Bismuth must. be given with much prudence. In too large doses, too close together, it may aggravate the functional difficulty and hasten its evolution. . The value of bismuth treatment is known. The results obtained up to this time, however, do not permit one to consider bismuth as:](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b32182946_0094.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
