This total includes the 'emergency beds' placed in various hospitals during the recent pressure for accommodation.] In addition to the above-named Hospitals the Board have in course of erection— The Park Hospital, at Hither Green, for 548 patients The Grove Hospital, at Tooting, for 520 patients 1,068 The Board have also secured a site for a Convalescent Hospital at Carshalton, on which they propose to provide for 700 convalescent fever and diphtheria patients.
