![ItATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS, 1898. No. 728. VACCINATION, ENGLAND. s Vaccination Order, 1898. Dated October 18, 1898. 38,831 eral Order. ciuation Acts, 1867 to 1898. ended Regulations. To the Board of Guardians of every Poor Law Union in England and Wales; — To the Public Vaccinators of the several Vaccination Dis- tricts in England and Wales; — And to all others whom it may concern. Whereas by Section 4 of the Vaccination Act, 1867 (herein- r referred to as the Act of 1867 ), it was enacted that no on should be appointed a Public Vaccinator, or act as deputy a, P\iblic Vaccinator, who should not possess the qualification •etofore prescribed by the Lords of Her Majesty's Council, uch as should be from time to time prescribed by them, ex- , when such Lords should, upon sufficient cause, sanction departure from their directions; and that all such regula- s as the said Lords had theretofore made, or should there- r make, which they were thereby authorised to make, to re the efficient performance of Vaccination, should be duly srved by the several persons to whom they applied; nd whereas by Section 8 of the Act of 1867 the Lords of Majesty's Council were authorised to issue regulations in ect of the re-vaccination of persons who might apply to e-vaccinated; nd whereas by Section 5 of the Vaccination Act, 1871 ein-after referred to as the Act of 1871 ), it was enacted ,, subject to the provisions of that Act, the Poor Law rd should have the same powers with respect to Guardians Vaccination Officers in matters relating to Vaccination as [Price 2\d.] ^4766—250—8/1902 Wt 43 D & S 32 A](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b21460280_0001.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
