![(d) Poultry (i) the number of poultry processing premises within the district at 31st December is 3» (ii) the number of visits to these premises was 14. (iii) the total number of birds handler, during the year was about 2,700,000 (iv) the types of birds processed were Turkeys (3000) and BrOTlers. (v) the percentage of birds rejected as unfit for human consumption was .03% (vi) the number of birds condemned as unfit for human consumption averaged 25 per week. Durin.. the year, two of the Inspectors attended a refresher Course of Poultry Inspection! at the London College of Distributive Trades.
