![Z-/ ANNUAL GENEKA], MEETING Xcix The Pkksidknt.—I will now pat the resolution— That the Council of the Society be requested, with as little delay as possible, to invite the leading- medical societies of London to arrange for a joint meeting for the purpose of considering the advisability of amalgamating, and to take the necessary preliminary steps for that purpose. Carried unanimously. The President.—I should like to express my thanks to the Society for the vote of thanks that they have passed to me, and to say that I am very hopeful at all events that we may be able to make a good attempt to bring about this desired result. Of course, we cannot promise more than that.
