ENGELBacn, and is explained by M. C. Kuentz (quoted by EnceLpacu, Ann. du Sery., XXI 124) as the Lat. simpulum. It will be noticed that in 1. r4 cina/ precedes, whereas here it follows, the number of xvista; but ci[mA/ nevertheless seems the obvious reading.
