Mr. Be ring ton, in Eafi-Street, Red-Lyon IT is about Fifteen Years fince I was firft feized with Pains from the Gravel and Stone, when I iat ft ill or walked gently a crofs my Room, I felt little or no Pain, but could not walk in the Streets, or bear the jolting of a Coach, without much Pain $ almoft every Jolt put me into a fudden Sweat. On thefe Occafions I often made bloody Water. For about Half a Year, l took feveral Diureticks to no Effed ; they brought away a Quantity of fucb Matter, as, they fay, commonly is gathered about a Stone in the Bladder, which I imagined cleared the Way for Mrs. Stephens's Medicines, to reach the Stone, and work upon it the fooner. For, after I had taken the laid Medicines for about a Fortnight, they brought away fome final 1 Shells and broken Bits of Stone : which laft Sorts continued to come away by Fits, from Time to Time for fome Months.
