![[ *6 ] than would be convenient ; and the rea- fon why the cervix of the tents and their hollow fliles are longer than thofe of the tubes is, that their riling a little is often eligible ; yet their dependant canulae mull have length enough to reach beyond the bony ifthmus into the nofe. It will be proper to have a ftill fmaller fize than the laft, but of the fame length, in readinefs, for children, &c. When thefe tubes, or tents, are formed of gold or lilver, it is neceffary to leave one or two turns of a female fcrew in the top of their cup, or cylinder, or head ; but this will not be required when they are compofed of lead. The preceding particulars, to which may be added a common bleeding lancet, conlfitutes the whole apparatus for curing the Fiftula Lacrymalis.
