![the wife of Mr. William Mason aforesaid. From this second marriage are descended the Masons of Beel House, Amersham, Bucks. Her father’s will was proved by his relict Kuth, Oct. 24th 1721 in the P. C. C. (Buckingham). Peter Elliston, posthumous son of Peter Elliston of West j\Ialling and his wife Katharine, married in 1743 or 4 Mary, only daughter of Philip Hedman of Kingston-on-Thames, (M. I. in AVest Mailing Church.) Pie was of St. Martin’s Outwich, Threadneedle Street, London. Had lands in the parishes of Birling and East Mailing, co. Kent bequeathed to him by the will of his uncle John Elliston 1745. Plis wife ]\Iary is mentioned in John Elliston’s will also. He died Oct. 16th 1746, aged 26, leaving an only child, Peter Hedman Elliston (M. I. West Mailing Church). His will dated Oct. 13th 1746 was proved in the P. C. C. by his relict whom he named executrix, Oct. 17th 1746 (293 Ed- munds). Peter Hedman Elliston the son, who was of Margaret Street, Cavendish Square, London, died in 1814 unmarried, and with him the family of Elliston became extinct in the male line. His will, dated Oct. 15th 1814, was proved in P. C. C. Jan. 18th 1815 (19 Pakenham). 2. John Elliston of Fetter Lane, parish of St. Dunstan-in-the- West, London, gent. Is designated in his brother Peter’s will “citizen and mercer.” Died May 4th 1746, s. p. aged 62 (Memorial Bing). Buried, in accordance with the directions in his will, at West Mailing, ]\Iay 13th (P. B. and M. L). Plis will, dated Dec. 7th 1745, was proved May 15th 1746 in P. C. C. (148 Edmunds). 3. Francis Elliston, buried at West Mailing (M.I.). 4. ]\Iary, born about 1677, married “ Mr. William Mason of West Mauling, co. Kent, surgeon.” The marriage allegation in the Faculty Office is dated PAbruary 12th 1699-1700. Plad issue, but no descendants are now known to exist. 5. Elizabeth, born about 1681; married Mr. Samuel Lucas of the parish of Saint Mary, St. Edmund’s Bury, co. Suffolk. The marriage allegation in the Faculty Office is dated June 28th 1709.
