He died in 1715, and the work was continued by Thomas Ainsworth, who in his turn died in 1719. It was finally revised by reacieean Thomas. The Life of Chaucer prefixed was the work of the Rev. It is prefaced by fifteen short poems by Oxford Scholars, including Strode and Dudley Digges.
