The death rate from Pulmonary Tuberculosis is less, and there were no deaths from Influenza. General Provisions for Health Services in the Area. General. There is a Cottage Hospital consisting of two wards and a private ward for accidents and general diseases; a nursing matron and sister being in charge. Extra help is obtained when occasion arises. The number of patients nursed in the hospital during the year was 84, 43 males and 41 females.
