Description
Roll 2 of 29 of rushes shot for the Wellcome Trust video 'Funding for the Future' dated 13/6/90. This roll features more health checks in a Kenyan village; departure from village in a small truck; fields, trees, cattle POV from road, rear POV of Kilifi van. In children’s ward at Kilifi; baby with catheter. Doctor explains use of Ketamine IV; child has severe compilation from malaria and has anaemia; a bone marrow sample will be taken. English male doctor (young, beard, glasses) presides. Very distressed older child cries; she has brain damage from malaria. Another English doctor (curly hair and freckles) appears.
