    (iit) and raising them upwards in front of the face, (iv) finally stretching them wide apart before completing the circles by lowering to position in the first photo again. The circles thus intersect each other. This exercise is done quickly, ten to twelve circles, then drop the arms down and rest and repeat. Note.—Throughout the exercise the standing position should be steady. The child should stand with weight thrown on to the ball of the foot (1.e. thrown forwards), knees well pressed back, abdomen drawn in, head held erect. The head needs to be kept straight especially during the arm upstretching part, when there 1s a tendency to poke the chin. The breathing should be natural with mouth shut.
