![Cemetery cor- porations may cremate bodies of the dead. To be subject to certain pro- visions of law. Certain rights and privileges not affected. [Acts of 1898, Chapter 192,] An Act relative to the sale of poisons. Section 1. Section twenty of chapter three hundred and ninety-seven of the acts of the year eighteen hundred and ninety-six is hereby amended by striking out the whole of said section and inserting in place thereof the following: — Section 20. Whoever sells arsenic (arsen- ious acid), atropia or any of its salts, chloral hydrate, chloroform, cotton root and its fluid extract, corrosive sublimate, cyanide of potassium, Donovan's solution, ergot and its fluid extract, Fowler's solution, laudanum, McMunn's elixir, morphia or any of its salts, oil of ■noTinvrnval. oil of savin, oil of tansv. ODiunn. Patih o-v^ior. by said corporations subject to the duties, and with the privileges and immunities which they now have under general laws or by special act or acts. Section 2. In all matters concerning the construction of such buildings, the cremation or incineration of dead bodies, and the disposition of the ashes, said cemeteries shall be subject to the provisions of chapter two hundred and sixty-five of the acts of the year eighteen hundred and eighty-five. Section 3. Nothing contained in this act shall be construed to deprive any corporation acting under its provisions of any right, immunity or privilege heretofore acquired under any special act or acts. Work of pre- venting spread of contagious diseases among domestic ani- mals to be con- ducted by local inspectors act- ing under cattle commissioners. Cattle commis- Bioners may make rules [Acts Of 1898, Chapter 451.] An Act relative to contagious diseases among domes- tic ANIMALS. Section 1. The work of preventing the spread of con- tagious diseases among domestic animals, as provided for by chapter four hundred and ninety-one of the acts of the year eighteen hundred and ninety-four, and by acts in amendment thereof and in addition thereto, shall here- after, so far as possible, be performed and the appropri- ations therefor expended by local inspectors acting under the direction of the board of cattle commissioners.
