![Matters, or other Perfons having the Charge or Command of fuch Ships or Veflels : And whereas it is deemed expedient, that in the Cafe of Ships or Veflels coming from or having touched at any of the Places mentioned in His Majetty’s faid Order in Council of the Fifth April One thoufand eight hundred and five as Places from which it is probable that the Plague or fome ether infeftious Difeafe or Diftemper highly dangerous to the Health of His Majetty’s Subjects may be brought into Great Britain, or having on board any Goods, Wares, or Merchandizes enumerated in the faid Order, being the Growth, Produce, or Manufa&ufe of Turkey, or of any Place in Africa within the Streights of Gibraltar, or in the Weft Barbary on the Atlantic Ocean, from any Port or Place in Europe without the Streights, or on the Continent of America, at which there is not a regular Eftablilhment for the Performance of Quarantine, which fhall have been declared fufficient for that Purpofe by any Order of His Majefty in Council notified by Proclamation, or pullilhed in the London Gazette, or coming from or having touched at any Port or Place on the Continent of America, the Iflands adjacent thereto, or coming from or having touched at any of the Ports in the Wejl Indies, the following Queftions, in addition to the faid Preliminary Queftions, fhould be put to the Commander, Matter, or other Perfon having the Charge of fuch Ships or Veflels j viz. After the Tenth Queftion. “ you hear of any Report, or are you aware of any Sufpicion having exifted at the lime of your failing, that the Plague or any other Infe&ious Difeafe prevailed at the Place from whence you failed, or at any other Place in the Mediterranean, [or in America or the Weft Indies, as the Cafe may be] ?” After the Eleventh Queftion. At what Port did you take on board your Pafiengers?
