    ANNO QUADRAGESIMO QUINTO GEORGII III. REGIS. CAP. X. An AS: for making further Provifion for the effectual Performance of Quarantine. [i ath March t 805.] WHEREAS by an Ad:, pafled in the Thirty-ninth and Fortieth Years of the Reign of His prefent Majefty, intituled An Ad 39 & 40 G 3 for eroding a Lazaret on Chetney Hill, in the County of Kent, c- 8o' and for reducing into one Ad the Laws relating to Quarantine, and for making further Provifions therein, and by other Ads antecedent thereto, Provifion was made as well for purchafing Lands for ereding a Lazaret as for de- fraying the Expences of building the fame, and for maintaining a proper Eftablifhment of Officers necelfary for enforcing a due Performance of Quarantine ; in purfuance of which, Lands were purchafed at Chetney Hill, in the County of Kent, and Progrefs was made in the Eredion of a Laza- ret there ; but the Funds granted by the faid Ad of the Thirty-ninth and Fortieth Years of His prefent Majefty having been found infufficient for completing the fame, and for the Payment of competent Salaries to the Officers who were to have the Charge thereof, and other necelfary Ex- pences attendant on the Quarantine Service, according to the Plan which 2 had
