The Port receives the same water supply as the Bor- ougdi of AVorkington, and vessels are supplied from hydrants situated on the dock-side. The character of the water is 1.25 degrees of hardness and is of exceptional purity, proved by (diemical and bacteriological examina¬ tion several times during the year. Notices were given the Masters of four vessels to clean out water storag’e tanks. 4. Port Health Reyalatioas, 1983 and 1945. The Begulations continue to work spioothly, and the arrangements were fully described in my Annual Report foi' 194b.
