And he fairly own'd, he cou’d not fay they were. I own that it feem'd probable that the fix Perfons in Mr. Batfs Family might have catch'd the S?nallBox of the Girl that was Inoculated 5 but it is well known that the Small Box were rife not only at Hertfordy but in feverai Villages round it, many Months before any Perfon was Inoculated there: Witnefs Mr. Dobb’s Houfe in Chrift’s Hofpital Buildings, where he himfelf died of the worft Sort with Purples; and his Children had it. Some other Families there,' and particularly Mrs. Mojs’s, where the a- bove-named Elizabeth Harr if on. Inoculated in Newgate, attended feverai Perfons under it, to prove whether file would catch the Di- ftemper by Infection 5 Both Latin Boarding- Schools ; Mr. Stoufs and Mr. Loyd’s Fami- >$
