I know of no Immorality that is forbid to a Chriflian, the Pradice of which Is allow’d to an Infidel. Indeed Morality is more clearly taught and more ftrongly en¬ forc’d by Rewards and Punifhments amongft us 5 but it does not change its Nature amongft the reft of Mankind. He docs not wonder, that the Pradice of Inoculation fhould obtain, where thdDodrine of Fatality is believ’d; but the Misfortune is, that the M atter of Fad is quite othenvife : For if he had carefully pe¬ rus'd Dr. Wagflajfe s Difcourfc, which he fo much commends, that would have inform'd him. That no Body pretends to give us an In- fiance of an Inoculated Turk. And why ') Be- caufe their Belief of a Fatality makes them ncgkd very much the ordinary Helps of Me¬ dicine for preferring their Lives.
