May I ask you for the Report of your analyst, who found lead, but “ not to any amount ?”'f (I use Mr. Growse’s words.)-J I shall most certainly follow in the wake of the Water Committee, and, in military language, “ take march¬ ing step from them.” Depend upon it, if necessary, the public shall judge, and, I doubt not, will protect a single philanthropist from the unseemly attack made on him, spurred on by the jealousies and animosity of those who ought to know better.
