My clear Sir, Can you send me by bearer Dr. Taylor’s Re- port (original,) as I wish to make a fair copy for the Lord President of the Privy Council. Tours very truly, JOHN P. Hastings, Feb. 28, 1859- Dear Sir, In answer to your letter of this morning we beg to say that Dr. Taylor’s Report is of course the property of the Local Board of Health, and may be used as the Members think fit; but we would take the liberty of sug¬ gesting the propriety of not sending it to the Lord President of the Privy Council until you can at the same time for¬ ward the whole of the documents relating to the Water question, which we hope to be able to let you have in the course of next week.
