Department as will be seen from the table on page 38. The majority of animals arc at present slaughtered in slaughter- houses outside the District, but meat exposed for sale or deposited for manufacture in premises within the district is regularly in- spected. Swine Fever An emergency slaughter of pigs suspected <>1 swine fever took place at Skreens Park. Roxwell. It was later confirmed that two of the pigs suffered from the disease. The disposal of the carcases was carried out under supervision on the farm.
