Item ther ys on hye way called Brygdyck within the partys of Kesten & Holland, extending from the howsse of Santt Savyors at Brygend in the parties of Kesten unto a place calledd Holland Brygg or Donyngton Hye Brygge of Brygdyck, whiche ys in great rewen & decay, & dyvers & sondry brygges in the said way ys utterly decaydd & gon, & the same owght to be reparydd & amended, by the howsse & landes of Santt Savyors at Brygend aforsaid. [473.X1.16] 196 (12 Byker Almondbycke) Item the sayd jury saythe apon ther othes that a comonde drene or sewer called Almondbecke is defyctyve & in decay in maney & deveres places which oughte to be dekyd & kypete in suffecient repare with dekyng & rodyng & banckyng so ofte as nede shall reuere by the lordes & tenintes fryholderes & copyholders belonggyn unto the saym towne of Byker aforsayd. (The Newdyke) Item the sayd jury saythe that the Newdyke betwyn Donyngton Fyne & Byker Fyne is in rewyng & decay in maney & dyveres places wich owght to be dycked banckyd & hoked by the inhabitauntes of Bycker aforesaid as often as nede shall requyre by comman meynworke. (Bycker Dyke) Item the said jurye sayth that ther is one comman dycke called Bycker dyke wich ys in ruyng & decay & howght to be dycked royded & bancked by the habitayres of Byker afforesaid by comman menworke. | (Ee of Bicker) Item the said jury sayth that the comman ee in Bycker afforesaid is in ruyng & decay in many & dyvers places & howght to be dycked roded & clenssed by the inhabiteres of Bycker afforesaid.
