Item thei saye that Gednye hedynges ledynge from Southe Ee to the Comentye is in decaye in sertyn places for lacke of height & brethe & ought to be mayd from tym to tym by the landholders adioyninge thereupon one the este syde as well by the quens maiestye as lord & all other tenantes. Item thei saye that there is a sertayne petye draene on the west syde of Gednye Gatte & ought to rune over a sertyn laynne at Fyshers Corner & ther to have his passhayge throughe an holl tree in to the West Ee & ought to be kept there by the comentye. [473.X1.31] 208 Item theye saye that ther is sertayne laynes ledynge from Sturtun Cloute to a place called Fletstocke is in decaye for lacke of height & brethe & ought to be mended & exalted from tym to tym by the inhabytours of Gednye End by comone menworkes. Allso theye saye that ther is a sertyne petye drean ledynge from Sowthe Ee to Lease Yattes called the West Ee & ought to be dycked scoured & clensyd from tym to tym by the sayd landholders on the west syde as well our sovereinge laydye the quen as lord & there tenantes. Item theye saye that ther is a sertyn hedyn ledynge from Gednye hedynges to Sutton hedynge & ought to be exalted & kepte from tym to tym by comende menworkes at a place ther callede Olders Tree etc. Item theye saye that it is mette that a payre of clowes be mayde at Ravens Dycke in the comone ee by acrer sylver as well by our sovereinge laydye the quen as lord & all other there tenantes. Allso thei saye that Rayvens Dycke is in decaye for lacke of height & brethe & ought to be mayde in suffycyent height & brethe from a place called my lord Wentworthe delfe to Sutton hedynge by the townshepe of Gednye by comone menworkes. ) Item theye saye that ther is a drowe caulled Ravens Drowe to a place callede Hous Crosse & ought to be mendyd & kepte by the inhabytours of Gednye by comone menworkes. Allso theye saye that ther is a sertyn lanne caulled Cokborne Fendycke which is in lycke defaute to a place called Towgottes & ought to be mayd & kept by the inhabetours of Gednye by comonde menworkes. ‘Item the sayd jurye saye that Flette Landmere ys defectyve and in grete rewen & dekaye for lacke of heyghth and bredde frome Sowght Ee Bangke to Spaldyng Gayte.
