About this work

Description

"Din is a love letter to nightjars, to all that shift and remain unseen. It is the click that follows silence, the stutter of a morse code key. This zine exists in the gaps between realness and knowing, where fact ends and imagination begins. It is a celebration of rare things, of betwixt-and-between things that exist against all odds. It starts with a gender transition and takes flight through the chaos and noise that follows marginality, scapegoating, and a life – lives – on the cusp of visibility. Din exists in the flicks of light that come at dusk. It is charged by folklore and the distant rumblings of human, beast, bird."-- From publisher's website. https://skearzines.wordpress.com/din-by-louis-bailey/
