Description
This film is a record of Sir Charles Hastings Memorial Festival held in Worcester on 30 May 1951. Charles Hastings was a founder of the British Medical Association. There are plentiful scenic views of the interiors of the cathedral and its environs. Dr E. A. Gregg, chairman of the council is filmed chatting with Dr W. D. Steel, chairman of the Worcester & Bromsgrove Division. Dr J. A. Brown, Drs Guy Dain and Meikle, the Mayoress Margaret Norton are shown in the garden prior to a high tea afterwhich some historical materials are viewed on the tables.
