Ann Davis, the cow-poxed, cornuted old woman, whose portrait is in the British museum. ... Woolnoth del et sculp. Lettering continues: "Dialogue. Q. Had she ever the cow-pox. A. Visable, demonstrable, better than an ox-check & equal in authority to most of Dr. Rowley's 440 cases."
