A high street decked with bunting and the Union Jack. A Georgian house bears a notice for sale by the estate agents Buckland & Son of Slough. About a dozen nurses wearing the Red Cross are on the float with blood transfusion equipment. Some of them are holding posters designed by Reginald Mount and Eileen Evans advertising the blood transfusion service
