Description
The tattoo on his arm depicts the woman diver who stole a sacred gem from the palace of the dragon king at the bottom of the sea
From the play 'Summer Festival' in which Danshichi hides his victim's corpse in a well and escapes by joining a festival procession: his tattoo links him to the underworld
