    lowing Catalogue relate indirectly to matters concerning the Royal Society, but not so intimately connected with its proceedings as to require a situation in the Archives. Of this collection, important chiefly to the man of science, but containing also materials interesting to the antiquary, no account has hitherto appeared. In the following few pages will be found a brief, and it is hoped accurate, description of them; but in no cases have complete analyses been given. October 17 th, 1839.
