II a.m. Jaundice pronounced. Tongue clean at tip and edges, whitish fur on dorsum, the papillae, showing as red points. Glabellar headache and severe epigastric pain. xMarked prostration. Pulse 94. 3 p.m. No headache. Pain over epigastrium and liver. Tem- perature 997, pulse 81, weak and compressible. Urine 7J ozs., clear, albumin = transparent opacity, no deposit on centrifuging. No headache or epigastric tenderness. No splenic enlargement. 4.30 p.m. Urine ij ozs., clear, acid, albumin = opacity. 7 p.m. Urine 9 ozs., clear, albumin = opacity. 9.20 p.m. Urine ozs., clear, acid, albumin = faint opacity.
