![Tuberculin-Tested Milk There are 20 Dealers in the Borough who supply graded milks under the Milk (Special Designations) Regulations. (i) Tuberculin-Tested (Pasteurised). Thirty-two samples of Tuberculin-Tested Pasteurised Milk were obtained, and upon examination two were found to be unsatisfactory. (ii) Tuberculin-Tested (Certified). Forty-five samples of this grade of milk were obtained, of which nine were found to be unsatisafactory. The total number of samples of various grades of milk takenMuring the year was 117 as compared with 114 of last year. Only 12 samples or 10.25% were found to be unsatisafctory. A generally satisfactory position. Ten special samples of milk were taken and it was ultimately found that the cause of the unsatis- factory results was due to the time lag between Producer and delivery to Consumer. New Premises July saw the o])ening of a new Dairy and Pasteurising Plant to rc|)lace a set of premises which had long been a source of concern to the Department. 3'hese ])remises will deal with milk distributed over a wirle ar(;a in addition to Bexhill. (b) Food Poisoning 'fhere was one outbreak of h'ood Poisoning during the year. This fv:currf;d in an Institution and affected 23 persons in all; it was cliaractfuis(;fl by affecting infants between the ages of 2 and 5 years, the main clinical factors being an acute onset with abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhoea of jnoderate severity.
