[plates XII, XIII.] The accompanying skull came into my possession a few months ago, and I think that, from the small size of its cranium and lom other peculiarities, its exhibition and description may be of interest to the members of the Anthropological Institute. le only history which 1 have been able to obtain regarding the sp^ecimen is that it was sent to Aberdeen in 1858 by Siir- geon-General Walker, M.l)., LL.D., C.B., and that it formed part of the body of a Fakir who had attempted to murder Dr. W alker at the time of the Indian Mutiny.
