    POSTER ÖEiVIOMSTRATIQNS Posters ai-e displayed in the poster room, exhibit room and the lecture room. EVery poster should be put up by Tuesday noón, Aug. 30, at the latest. They should be displayed untit 16 (4 p.m.) on Wednesday, Aug. 31. For manning your poster you should choose a time and indicate It in thè right upper corner of your poster. This may bp during the sessions, intervals or lunch times. Wednesday, Aug. 31 is probably the most suitable time for manning posters. Posters on display arq arranged by session and topic. You will find your poster number printed in the abstract book and in the list of posters. The same number indicates the place of your poster in the poster room. The poster surfaces are made of white thick cardboard, and the necessary pins for putting up your poster are available in the poster room. BOOK OF ABSTRACTS Every registered full member of the Conference will receive a Copy of the Abstract Book. Extra copies will be on sale at the registration desk in Korpilampi for 10$ (or 40 Fmk). : ■ - Abstracts are arranged by sessions as indicated below, Within each session the order is alphabetical according to the first author. Lewis in 1964 the proceedings have been published as a vOlume càllèd Chromosomes Today . Elsevier I North-Holland has undertaken to produce and publish Chromosomes Today Vol. 6, Proceedings of the Helsinki Chromosome Conference, edited by Albert de la Chapelle and Marja Sorsa. / The volume will contain some 50 selected papers, and is scheduled to appear December 19.77. Copies of the volume will be made available to the participants at a discount of 25 % off the list price. Advance orders can be placed with thé representative of Elsevier I North-Holland, who will be present at the Conference. The trip from Korpilampi to central Helsinki .takes about 30 minutes (during rush hours about 40 mihutes). The following transportation is available. Conference buses Green coloured buses carrying the Conference sign take care of transportation from the other two hotels (participants staying elsewhere in Helsinki may use the bus to and from Hotel Hesperia). A one-way ticket costs 4.80 Fmk. Thf timetable on weekdays is as follows: Leave Korpilampi — Leave Helsinki — Arrive in Helsinki Arrive at Korpilampi Taxis are easily available by phone and from taxi stations, and less easily in the street. There is a taxi station near the Korpilampi Hotel. Taxis take 4 passengers. Approximate price for taxi transportation from Korpilampi to, Helsinki is 50 Fmk. No tipping is necessary.
