As to Sewage Works without District. 32 Before commencing sewa<re works outside tlieii' dis- trict, a L.A. must give three months’ notice of their intention, by advertisement in one or more of the local papers—and such notice must give all particulars of the intended works, the names of the parishes, turn- ])ike roads, streets, Ac., likely to lie affected—and also provide a [dace where a plan of the works may be seen at all reasonable houi's. A like notice must also be served on all owners and occu[)iers of land, on the overseers of the [larishes named, and on the trustees, 33 surveyors, &c., of highways. If any one objects to the intended works, and serves a notice in writing of such objection upon the L.A. within the three months, the woi'ks cannot be commenced without the sanction of the L.Cf.B., after due enquiry, or the withdrawal of 34 such objection. The L.A. then makes an application to the L.G.B., who may ap[)oint an Inspector to make enquii'ies on the sj)ot; and, on recei[jt of his report, the L.G.B. may make an order allowing, disallowing, or modifying the plan proposed. Privies, Waterdosets, A'c. 35 No house shall be erected or rebuilt without a av.c., E.C., or p., and an ashpit with doors and coverings; and sec. 157 gives U.A. [)Owmr to make bydaws with regard to these. A [lenalty not exceeding £20 is 36 imposed for neglect of this law.
