About this work
Description
This programme looks at two young British women who are in Persistent Vegetative States, as their parents attempt to 'wake her up' by using a so-called miracle drug from South Africa, Zolpiden. The families travel to South Africa to meet some of the people who've been helped by the drug and we watch as the British families try it out on their children for the first time.
