About this work

Description

This amateur film with some intertitles illustrates a tour of India. There is footage of major landmarks (the Red Fort, the Taj Mahal) and people on the streets. The places visited are; Ludhiania, Agra, Nagpur, Hyderabad (Deccan). Dr K Nayak with Colonel MacGregor pose for the camera. The tour continues to Madras and Calcutta with various general views and a day at the races. From Calcutta, Dr S.P. Chandhuri and Colonel R.N. Chopra pose. The tour continues to Assam (Shillong) and Mariani.
