Granddad, dementia and me.

This is an intimate portrayal of a beloved family member who is diagnosed with dementia and the emotional challenges shared by everyone relating to the illness. It is made by Dominic Sivyer who observed and interviewed his grandfather Tom over two years. Over the course of the film Tom is sectioned twice, has a brief sojourn in a residential care home, is cared for by one of his daughters before a solution is eventually found.
