    NOTICE. Tlie following Review claims such special attention that I have been induced to give it publicity, in order to disseminate correct information on the proper clothing for the Human Foot, which it so forcibly advocates. The importance of the subject engaged Dr. Camper's attention in his lime; it has practically occupied mine ever since 1 commenced business as a Shoemaker, indeed, so far back as 1835, my improvements met with the approbation of the Royal Scottish Society of Arts, who in that year awarded mo their Silver Medal. Recently, it will be seen, this most interesting branch of applied science has also been investigated scientifically by Dr. Mover and Dr. Humphry. 455, Strand, London. JAMES DOWIE.
