ANIMAL BOARDING ESTABLISHMENTS ACT, 1963 This Act which came into force on the 1st January 1964 aimed at en- suring that suitable accommodation is provided and proper care given to pets whilst in the care of boarding establishments. Such premises are licensed annually, and twenty visits were made during the year to the nine licensed premises. PET ANIMALS ACT, 1951 Two licences were issued under the Act, and the premises visited to ensure suitability. PETROLEUM [REGULATIONS] ACT 1928-1936 All new tank installations are tested under pressure (101b per square inch for 24 hours) in liaison with a representative of the company concerned.
