An old Dutch miniature bureau bookcase, with inlaid borders, and with glass doors, rising front and three drawers below, 7in. wide. An old Dutch miniature escritoire, with inlaid medallions and borders, and with fall-down front, a cupboard below, containing two carved and painted figures, Qin. wide. A carriage clock, in ormolu case, engraved with flowers and scrolls, 6in. high, in case. A plated octagonal tray, mounted with a painting of landscapes, classical figures, trophies and flowers, and with pierced border, English XVIIIth century, 2\tin. wide. Princess Ehzabeth, daughter of George III. A collection of silhouettes, portraits, figures, etc., cut by the Princess Elizabeth, and contained in a contemporary blue leather note book, with silver clasp and lock. Given by the Princess to Lady Banks. A BOOK OF OLD CHINESE DRAWINGS, birds, flowers and fruit, ninety-six, very finely executed, XVJIIth century. Formerly the property of Margaret Walpole, whose name and the date |790 is inscribed in the book. A Chinese rock crystal seal, surmounted by a kylin, and a Japanese ivory seal, carved with monkeys and a skeleton. A Japanese metal miniature cabinet, inlaid with birds, animals and flowers, in different metals, 44in. wide. An old Persian brass circular box, engraved with figures, birds and flowers in panels, 43in. diam., and another and cover, semi-circular, engraved with a battle scene, etc., Dtin. wide. A Persian manuscript on vellum, Laila wa Magntin, a romance in verse by Maktah, one hundred and four leaves, with illuminated title, the text within borders of gold and with nineteen miniatures in gold and colours, in lacquer covers, painted with flowers, XVJth century.
