Pathe | Aurum vite is made many waies, for being calcined after the Spagyrick manner, itis made light and. fpungeous; which cannot be reduced again, from which with diftilled Vinegar is drawn.a falt in Ba/neo, whofe qualittes by circulations with the fpirit of Wineare fo increafed, that they feem to be ih- credible for the curing of innumerable difeafes. Calcine gold made into thin plates fo oft with Salt prepa- rate ( by a Philofophical calcination) untill it be made unpal- pable, the fale by difloluttons being feparate from the Alcool of gold ; then calcine it again with very white fugred fale,/ and to this mixture pour of the fpirit of alcoolyzat, which is proper fale, according to the precepts of Art,that it may cover it over oely four fingers, then fet on fire, that the Alcool may burn, and this you fhall doe oftentimes, then pour on new Alcool of Wine, and circulate all rightly and de- cently the fpace of four daies.
