The relationship established with the staffs of hospitals in the year allows of continuity of treatment when persons are discharged from hospital and come under the care of midwives, health visitors, or district nurses in the home. Aftercare arrangements also include the provision of Con¬ valescent Home Treatment, and during 1957, 2 adult persons from Whitworth were sent for convalescence under t :e County scheme.](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b30275465_0012.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
