    2340 Wither (George) The Hymnes and Songs of the Chvreh (4-12 in fours), title within type-metal border, musical notation, half calf folio. London, Printed by the Assignes of George Wither, 1623 ** HXCEEDINGLY RARE; NOT RECORDED IN THE 8.T.C. which cites only four editions, two (one 4to, the other 16mo) dated 1623, and two (both 8vo) undated. In such cases it is usually safe to assume that the folio issue is the earliest. 2341 Wither (G.)
