The third was a Man of fifty, and both fcorbutic nd fcrophulous; the internal parts of his Mouth were veil’d, relaxed, and fometimes run a famous Liquor. Pu- ulent Matter alfo flow’d from under the Nails of his reat Toes, where fleffiy Tubercles grew; and Pains in he foies of his Feet hinder’d him from walking. All the Lemedies he took could not prevent the Mortification f one of his great Toes, which was therefore cut off, nd his Cafe feem’d defperate.
