![Make an Eledtuary, to be given in the fame Dofe as the former, in Fevers attended with aLoofenefs, Gripings of the Belly, and Vo¬ mitings. The Syrup, Tindture and Extract of the Peru¬ vian Bark are prepared thus. The febrifuge Syrup. Take of the Peruvian Bark in Powder §ij. and infufe them in Ifcij. of ftrong red Wine. Let them Hand in Digeftion together for two or three Days, from Time to Time {baking the Veffel. To the Liquor feparated by Incli¬ nation add §ij. of frefh Bark, and digefl again for two or three Days : Then filter the Infufion feveral Times till it becomes clear. With this make a Syrup, by mixing it with Ifeiv. of white Sugar diflolved in Viper-Grafs Water and boiled to a folid Eledtuary. The Dofe is from \]. to jij. and is a very com venient Form for Children, being not un- pleafant to take. The Tindture. Take of the Peruvian Bark Jj. French Brandy §viij. Let them ftand to digefl; in a clofe Veffel for three Days, now and then {baking them about, and then feparate the Tindture by Inclination. The Dofe is a Spoonful feve- ral Times a Day in a Draught of Wine. The Extradt. Take of the Peruvian Bark ifej. rectified Spirit of Wine ifeij.
