![Resolved that the following REPORT* of the Superintendent be printed and circu¬ lated. To the Committee of Visitors Gentlemen, The review of the year 1863, within the walls of the Asylum, does not invite much notice. The pressure for the accommodation of Patients was felt in it, as in former years. In this year however, it was not that the Patients, brought to it from the Unions to which they were chargeable, could not be received. It was that the rapid increase of Buckinghamshire Patients in the Asylum at Stone occasioned the * Rule 25—[of the General Rules of the Asylum.] The Superintendent shall submit to the Committee of Visitors, at their first meeting after the Oxfordshire Epiphany Quarter Sessions annually, a Report in writing, of the general condition of the Asylum, and the number and charader of the Patients ; distinguishing the numbers who have been received and discharged as cured; the number of re-ad¬ missions ; the number employed, and in what manner 5 the deaths which have occurred in the preceding year, and also the total number of discharges, cures, and deaths since the opening of the Institution, and specifying the sexes in each statement j with such other fads as the Superintendent may think desirable, or which the Visitors may have suggested.](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b30311111_0009.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
