Description
View inside a 3D model of a wasp's head imaged using micro-computed tomography (CT). One of two antennae is visible on the outside of the head. Wasps belong to the order hymenoptera and can be either social or solitary insects depending on the species. Some wasps are aggressive and can sting when threatened. Width of image is 1.5 mm.
