(4) leaves, 18 lines, well written in a very clear gothic hand, NINE FINE HISTORIATED INITIALS painted on grounds of burnished gold, all with marginal borders terminating in human figures or grotesques, a number of birds introduced into the border, pigskin back 8vo (110mm. by 73 mm.). Nortu-Hast FRANCE, XIII CENT. The miniatures are well-executed in a good style. The initial B of Psalm I has in the upper half King David harping, and a high crowned hat, and the terminal figure of the border is on p. 73 is playing a viol and on F 91 the bagpipes. meeter, by Thom.
